MEET THE PASTOR

Pastor Steave realized the call on his life at a very young age. During an illness Steave heard the voice of God and his promise to use him in bringing souls to the Lord. Steave met his wife Mary while attending Paradise HIgh School, fell in love and got married. They now have 4 grown children and 4 grandchildren to date.

Steave Cox was raised in the construction business building  custom homes for many years. He retired from his construction business several years ago and started working as a consultant for an insulation company.

Due to the devastating Camp Fire in 2018 that destroyed his home town, he has recently teamed up with his sons and is helping to rebuild Paradise, One house at a time.

Steave also volunteers at the Chico Police Department as one of their chaplains and is the full time Pastor at City Light Church.
